Ask the younger me what I wanted to be and you would have heard “owner of an ice cream factory.” That dream melted, but the idea behind it stayed: make something people love. Add a soft spot for stories and people and you get my first job, at a digital marketing agency in Dhaka. I spent my days on campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola, Airtel and Yonder Music and my nights wondering why one idea landed and another did not. Advertising came next. As a strategic planner, I finally got paid to ask “why” all day.

Then tech pulled me in and I realized software products need stories too. In 2017 I found the WordPress community and it changed how I saw work. Strangers became teammates, teammates became friends and a small plugin could reach someone on the other side of the world. I have been telling those stories ever since.

Now my days are full in the best way: 30+ products, a team of about 120 and xCloud, the company I co-founded in 2024. Evenings and weekends belong to JCI Dhaka Founders. In 2026 I led the chapter as Local President and in Japan we were named the Most Outstanding Local Organization in Asia Pacific.

Somewhere in between, life happened too. Some of my favorite chapters are not on a resume. In 2022 I married the love of my life. Four years later the honeymoon phase is still going strong, alhamdulillah!

And the travel? It never stopped. I have stood in deserts, on mountains and on crowded streets in 55 countries so far, all on a Bangladeshi passport. Each one taught me something an office never could.

At home, my two nieces have my whole heart. When the house finally goes quiet, I reach for a book. I still prefer hard copies. They smell like peace. And some nights I am just thinking about the universe and a lot of what-ifs. Say hi. I would love to hear yours.
